Its been awhile in coming but we are beginning to see long awaited credits post to Bill Police Client Accounts.
You may recall ATT was sued for several dastardly behaviors — see the original post here . Bill Police notified ATT or the Settlements Administrator on behalf of our Managed Service Clients and now we are finally seeing credits posting to bills. We hope the same for you!
ATT was fined:
- $80 Million to the FTC to provide refunds to those who were billed without their consent or knowledge ringtones, text messages and horoscopes, just to name a few
- $20 Million in penalties to the States
- $5 Million to the FCC for cramming
ATT is accused of not remedying the situation even after it was aware that numerous subscribers were being harmed reported the FTC complaint.
No better time to see it than St Patrick’s Day for a Pot of Gold Celebration!
