Corporate Wireless is a headache to manage. We fix that.
ATT had widespread outages today mostly on the US.

Verizon reported 3000 outages and T-Mobile reported about 1100.
This means that some business customers are seeing as much as a $8 hike per device in pricing in the last year. On a $45 plan, this is about a 20% hike in pricing even though base plans remain marketed at a stable $45 but you are now paying $53 per device
Verizon claims these adjustments are necessary to make improvements in 5G technology and infrastructure upgrades. Which, according to our customers, is very needed as coverage had degraded in the past year. You’re welcome.
Remember, you have do have choices. Don’t feel obligated to simply accept Verizon’s price hike. By actively assessing your needs and exploring the options available, you can optimize your plan to better fit your usage.

It is NOT happiness that makes us grateful, it is gratefulness that makes us happy.
So says David Steindl-Rast in his very cool TED talk especially poignant this Thanksgiving week.
We are all grateful we have First World problems — like when is my new iPhone 15 arriving? 🙂
We here at Bill Police are definitely happy because we have great clients, committed partners and highly valued employees. We are extremely grateful for the gift of all of those things from which has come great friends, great memories and lots of laughs.
Still Protecting Your Wireless Rights and Thankful for it—- especially this week.
What are your users doing when they are eating up gobs of data?
Data Consumption — for different types of files — is not created equal. Below is a helpful table to show you what you get from your data usage:
So what is that user who is saying they are using their 35 GB for “business use” must mean they are sending about 12 million emails each month — or looking at about 21,000 web views.
Perhaps not a big deal if you dont worry about cost or productivity but the user who is using this 35 GB per month with an overage rate of $10 or $15 per GB, these users can be costing you about $500 a month on average.
To help you gauge what you’re using in a day, here are some additional averages:
..0003 GB = text only email
.002 GB = visiting one webpage
.06 GB = listening to 60 minutes of music
2 GB = watching 60 minutes of video
.009 GB = using GPS for 60 minutes
For texting, messages are measured as events rather than in kb and are charged per address (recipient) sent or received.
One message sent to one person = one event
One message sent to 10 persons = 10 events
The text messages show up as a tally on the wireless bill as the number sent and received. Wireless plans vary, with some putting a ceiling on the number of texts per month to unlimited options.
By understanding how much data and messaging you use in an average month, it positions you well for selecting the right plan to meet your needs to help you save time and money.

What’s new
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) has been a requirement since January 2020 for personal care services and now will be mandated for Home Health Service by January 2023.
Section 1903(l) of the Social Security Act, as added by section 12006 of the Cures Act (Pub. L. No. 114-255) and further amended by Public Law No. 115-222, stipulates that states will be subject to a reduction in Federal Medical Assistance Percentages (FMAP) if they do not implement Electronic Visit Verification for home healthcare services by January 1, 2023,
Why it matters:
Section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act requires all state Medicaid agencies implement an EVV solution for Personal Care and Home Health services. States that do not implement EVV will incur a reduction of Federal funding.
